I’ve found that going on a hike is the perfect way to spend your morning or afternoon. We’re often stuck indoors with devices, so it’s nice to take a break from the screens and go on a hike with friends or family! It doesn’t even need to be challenging – I tried the Solstice Canyon trail in Malibu, and it was a slightly inclined walk but it had the most amazing scenery! Recently, I tried the Towsley Canyon Loop Trail, which was much more challenging but still not too bad… There were some moments that made me a little worried (like when a man was passing us on his bike on the top of the mountain next to a cliff)… But hey, we made it to the end in one piece!
While the hike was quite challenging, the views were equally rewarding! It was difficult to take pictures while on the hike because the second I looked up from the ground I felt like I was going to lose my balance! Luckily I got to snap a few photos before we got to the end of the hike, so I thought I would share them with you!
As you can see, the hike was fairly narrow and steep, but if you wear the right shoes it won’t be too bad! The hills are insanely green at the moment and there were a lot of flowers blooming, so if you want to start hiking in California, then now’s the time! I promise you that hills in California do not usually look this alive and colorful..
