Continuing with the Spring break theme, my mom, sister and I decided to drive to Pasadena and go shopping on Colorado Blvd! Since the weather here is getting warmer and warmer every day, it’s time to stock up on some Spring and Summer clothes. And what better place and time to do this than an outdoor shopping mall on a gorgeous Spring afternoon?
The first store on my checklist was, of course, Urban Outfitters! I have a tendency to find a ton of cute clothes in this store and get attached to them before realizing that they’re a bit too expensive and I probably don’t need them. Does anyone else do this? 😂 I’ve learned to go straight to the sale because there’s usually still a bunch of cute clothes but for half the price. I found a pair of jeans that I have to cut at the bottom (short people problems) and a cropped sweater that I was obsessed with during the Winter. I would call this a pretty successful shopping trip!
After Urban Outfitters, we headed to JCrew, Madewell, and Banana Republic, but I didn’t find anything (even though I was extremely tempted to get another bandana from Madewell 😂)

At the end of the street there’s a really cute place called True Food Kitchen, which is a very healthy restaurant with all sorts of foods and drinks. I went with a cheese pizza, but my mom and sister are a little more adventurous and went with a butternut squash soup and an ancient grain salad.

We pretty much inhaled our food, grabbed some coffee, and headed home! Overall I really enjoyed spending the day in Pasadena, and even though I didn’t get many “Summer” clothes, I really enjoyed the outdoor mall experience. It was really similar to State Street in Santa Barbara, which is also one of my favorites.
Thank you so much for reading this short post! I hope you enjoyed, and make sure to follow my blog for new posts every Monday and Friday!

Sale sections are literally my best friend! I love finding cute clothing for half the price, especially at more expensive stores like Urban Outfitters and Topshop. Although often sales sections can be stressful as often nothing is where it is supposed to be. xx

I usually stick to the sale section, but you’re right – it does get stressful because there’s definitely less options
