It’s officially spooky season at the happiest place on Earth.
A few days ago my family and I went to Disneyland and it was sooo much fun! We always go around Halloween-time because the decorations are amazing and weather is a lot nicer than it is in the summer!
It’s also just a great vibe at the park because a lot of people get dressed up as their favorite Disney character (especially the little kids)! We didn’t dress up, but we definitely got in the Halloween mood with some funky socks 😉
We went on all the most important rides (in my opinion) and luckily still had time left over for Fantasmic! (Fantasmic is a show that has fireworks and really cool effects and music!)
Here’s a list of all the rides we went on: Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Star Tours, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Gadget’s Go Coaster, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Indiana Jones, Autopia, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and, of course, The Haunted Mansion. Matterhorn was closed 😦
Managing your time at Disneyland is crucial to having a good time – and if you’re an avid Disneyland fan then you probably know what I’m talking about! For example, if you’re going to get fast passes for Space Mountain, then you should probably get to about one or two rides that have shorter lines before going back for your designated time. Neither of my parents wanted to go on Space Mountain, but my sister and I still used their tickets to get fast passes and ended up going on the ride twice with no line! We planned it out perfectly.. it’s a science.
My sister and I were actually in the line for Space Mountain when we decided to do that fun thing where people pose for the picture at the end of the ride. Some people get really creative and bring board games or other funny stuff – we just held up our maps as if we were reading them. It was pretty lame but we were working with what we had haha
For most of the day, I tried to stay off my phone and just focus on having a good time and making the most of my time. But, I did take a few pictures of the park at sunset because they sky was insane!
Disneyland is definitely something everyone should have the chance to experience. Ever since I was little, this was the place that made me the happiest, and there’s really nothing better than finally getting off the freeway at Anaheim and seeing that Disneyland sign.
Disneyland truly is, the happiest place on Earth. 🙂
I promise the cheesiness is over now.
