Hello everyone and happy Monday!
Today’s post isn’t the usual “Bullet Journal Update” or “Travel Blog”.. but sadly it is about my efforts in trying to give up Nutella, for the 263849 time.
As some of you may know, I have a slight obsession with Nutella, and I have since probably the day I was born (let’s be real).
Taking into account the unhealthy components of the spread, I have undoubtedly consumed enough to be at some sort of health risk. Each day I remind myself to make the right decision, but the dangerous – “just one more day” – seems to be getting in the way.
So, I took matters into my own hands (as if they weren’t before) and made myself a calendar to chart my progress. Each day I don’t eat Nutella, I color a box in the calendar.
You may be wondering – does this motivate you to not eat Nutella, just so you can color a box at the end of the day?
I don’t even know.
Sadly this system was proven to be successful for about two days until I ate Nutella and broke the “streak.”
BUT, I definitely feel more motivated to avoid it and make my calendar as red as possible! I think this might the time I finally realize I don’t need Nutella to survive (crazy, I know).
