Hot Chocolate | Simple & Easy

Hello everyone! Today’s post is all about how I make my hot chocolate on a lazy day. Since the weather has been cooling down, hot chocolate is one of my favorite drinks to make, especially since it’s so simple!

First, obviously, you need a mug! I use this mug from Starbucks, but I don’t actually remember when and where I got it.. It’s really big and looks festive so I use it all the time!

Now, you have a choice to use either milk or water, so I went with milk. I thought it would be a good idea to add some nutrition to the hot chocolate! Either way I don’t think there’s much of a difference between which one you use. IMG_0306After I poured in the milk, I put it in the microwave for about 70 seconds. For me this is easier than using the stove – whichever you prefer!

Now it’s time to add in the powder! I don’t usually add the entire pack – it’s way to sweet and sugary – so I use about 1/2 or 3/4. IMG_0316

Lastly, you stir it all together and enjoy your super quick and easy-to-make hot chocolate!IMG_0308

Here, you can add some whipped cream, chocolate sauce, marshmallows.. whatever you want! I was out of luck on all of these, so I just settled with some plain hot chocolate which was still amazing.

Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you enjoyed! Comment if you would like to see some more holiday and fall/winter posts, because I’m definitely looking forward to the holiday season!

I hope you have a great morning/day/night, and I’ll see you in my next post!
