OK, I’m going to be completely honest with you – I’m pulling this post together super last minute because life has been pretty crazy lately. I initially had a different post planned, but realized that it’s not something I was really happy with and chose to not post it.
But, I managed to pull this post together and make it something I’m actually happy with! So… here it is! I’m going to be showing you a few things that I’ve been doing during the past couple weeks right before going to bed. I love winding down before sleep, especially during Autumn! I just want to be all cozy and comfortable – even though it’s 90 degrees outside
- I love reading a few pages from a book right before bed. And don’t read a book on your phone, read an actual paper book! It’s better for your mind to not always be staring into a screen, especially right before falling asleep.
- It’s also a great idea to turn on some candles maybe around 30 minutes before sleeping. Plus, they smell really good! I’m really lame and use fake candles because I don’t trust myself with real fire haha
- I also turn on the lights of my mini Christmas tree just to feel a little more festive! Comment if you’re already decorating for Christmas and playing Christmas music, because I definitely am! Who cares if it’s only October?
- Lastly, I love using the night shift setting on my phone. It makes your screen a little more orange-tinted, which is supposed to be good for your eyes when go you to sleep/wake up. It also helps you wind down a little with a less vibrant light.
