Hello! I’ve been waiting ages to write this post, and it makes me so happy that I can finally write it!
I just attended Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams concert, and it was AMAZING! This was my second year at this tour, and it gets better every time.
Coldplay is my entire family’s favorite band, and we all went to the concert together! Since this was our second year, we could take more videos and pictures since we knew when all the best moments were.
If you want to see all of the amazing videos, you can check them out here, on my sister’s YouTube channel (we also have a bunch of videos from last year’s concert, and some old One Direction stuff)!
In my opinion (and I might be a bit bias) Coldplay’s shows are the most fun you’ll ever have at a concert! From all the confetti, balloons, fireworks, and Xylo Bands, it is absolutely breathtaking and insanely fun. If you ever get the chance to go to one of their concerts, don’t pass it up!
We took a bunch of pictures, and I can’t wait for you to see them! Chris, Johnny, Guy, and Will definitely know how to put on an amazing show..!
OH! I almost forgot: while we were walking outside the stadium, I saw a group of people come out (from I don’t know where) and one person in particular looked familiar.. It was Phil Harvey (Coldplay’s manager and 5th member)! I aggressively nudged my sister, and we rushed to introduce ourselves, say hi, and take a picture! He was so polite, and even complemented our family’s homemade t-shirts! IT WAS THE GREATEST MOMENT EVER!
Anyways, haha here are the pictures:
When they came to the C Stage they were super close to us, so we got a bunch of great pictures!
This picture is actually of the screen! I just thought the background looked really cool 😀
A surprise visit from James Corden! He came to the concert last year, too, and sang Us Against the World!
Xylo Bands 😍
Chris singing Everglow – one of the most beautiful and meaningful songs.
A close up of the Xylo Bands!
My favorite moments were probably during Hymn For the Weekend (my ALL TIME favorite), Charlie Brown, A Sky Full of Stars, and Adventure of a Lifetime.
When Hymn For the Weekend started playing, I completely lost my mind because I was so excited! I knew this wouldn’t happen, but I still had a sliver of hope that Beyonce would show up.. Maybe next year 😉
In Charlie Brown, the song started playing like normal, and right before Chris started singing, they band stopped playing and had a little “chat” with each other.. Everyone was a bit confused but Chris then came back and told us that he wants everyone to put down their phones for this song, and just jump and have a great time. I love that everyone immediately put down all of their devices and went all out – it was beautiful.
But, I’m really bummed that they didn’t sing Birds this year. Also, I don’t see why they didn’t sing Fun because Tove Lo, who is featured in the song, opened for their concert! I think she definitely should’ve come out to sing the song 😦
They did sing Free Falling, which was a great surprise! They sang it with James, and the entire crowd sang along to honor Tom Petty.
I could honestly go on and on about the concert! It was such a fantastic night filled with joy and love. I’m so thankful to have been part of such a fun, safe night.
Thank you so much for reading! Definitely comment if you love Coldplay and went/ are going to see their tour! Have a great Monday and I’ll see you in my next post!
Reading this post I could literally feel all your excitement and joy 😊 I love Coldplay just as much and going to one of their concerts one day is definitely on my bucket list! They make amazing and unique music and I could listen to them for the rest of my life haha. Looks like so much fun – glad you had a great time and also a safe time 🙂 great post

This is such a great post! I’m a huge Coldplay fan too but I haven’t gotten a chance to see them live yet. 😔
I hope they keep doing more shows so I can finally watch them live!
They seem like awfully close during the c-stage part. The pictures you posted are really great too!
You got to meet Phil ? That is so cool, I would have freaked out honestly.
They stop Charlie Brown at all of their shows. Its kinda like a recurring gag now.
I’m so happy you had such a great time! 😀
